Ereklasse Dames Back in the New Year

Tweede fase van start met zes teams

The Ereklasse Dames is back in the New Year as the second phase of the competition kicked off on Sunday 18 January 2026. After a competitive first phase, the league has now been reduced to six teams, raising the intensity as every match counts in the race for the championship.

Unfortunately, CAS Dames 1 and Utrecht Dames miss out on qualification for the second phase and will not feature in the Ereklasse Dames for the remainder of the season. Their absence highlights just how tight and competitive the first phase proved to be.

Ereklasse Dames – 2e fase

Matchday Results – Sunday 18 January 2026

BRC D1 10 – 31 RC Waterland D1

Sportboulevard Wisselaar | 13:00

RC Waterland D1 started their second-phase campaign in strong fashion with a convincing away victory. Their physical edge and organised attack proved decisive, while BRC D1 were left chasing the game for long periods.

RUS D1 34 – 5 RC Delft D1

Sportcentrum Olympos | 13:00

RUS D1 sent an early warning to the rest of the competition with a commanding home performance. Solid defence and clinical finishing earned them a bonus-point win and top spot on the table after Round 1.

AAC D1 41 – 33 RC DIOK D1

Sportpark de Eendracht | 13:30

The match of the round came in Amsterdam, where AAC D1 edged out RC DIOK D1 in an entertaining, high-scoring encounter. Both sides showed attacking intent throughout, but AAC’s ability to convert chances at key moments proved the difference.

Looking Ahead

With only six teams remaining in the Ereklasse Dames, the margin for error is minimal. RUS D1 and RC Waterland D1 have made strong starts, AAC D1 remain firmly in contention, while RC DIOK, BRC, and RC Delft will be eager to bounce back in the coming rounds.

If the opening weekend is any indication, the second phase of the Ereklasse Dames promises fast-paced, competitive rugby throughout 2026.
