The business end of the Ereklasse season is here. Four clubs remain in the hunt for Dutch rugby\u2019s top prize, and this weekend\u2019s semi-finals promise two high-octane showdowns that capture everything we love about the sport: grit, flair, leadership, and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rotterdam\u2019s pack is a powerful, grinding unit<\/strong>, driven by the influence of Ross Bundy<\/strong> \u2014 now signed by the Leicester Tigers after his standout performances. Add to that Sam Fagarty<\/strong>, the on-field general and backs maestro, and Will Maddocks<\/strong>, leading with both voice and vision. From 1 to 22, they\u2019re stacked \u2014 with a bruising starting pack and a game-changing “Bomb Squad” off the bench. Expect fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their opponents, Eemland RC<\/strong>, are arguably the most balanced side in the competition. Guided by Mitch McGahan<\/strong>, a coach with elite pedigree from Auckland to Europe, and assisted by Robbie Coetzee<\/strong> \u2014 a Super Rugby veteran with appearances in multiple finals \u2014 this is a team built with professional DNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star man? The ever-consistent and electric Bam Fadahunsi<\/strong>. Nicknamed \u201cWham, Bam, Thank You Ma\u2019am,\u201d he\u2019s a threat anywhere on the field \u2014 power, pace, and pure rugby instinct. The leadership of Niels van Oeffelen<\/strong> and forward brute force of Bilal Egberts<\/strong> will be key in containing Rotterdam\u2019s explosive backline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the inclusion of Khaya Majola<\/strong> \u2014 a former Super Rugby player and 2012 World U20 Champion with South Africa \u2014 their squad boasts world-class pedigree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Keep an eye on breakout star Amir Rademaker<\/strong>, recently retired from international duty, but still delivering at top speed. Alongside him, Bjorn Dolman<\/strong>, now a senior international, is a devastating runner \u2014 powerful, elusive, and deadly in space. Up front, Olly White<\/strong> and Taffy Kahembe<\/strong> will ensure no ruck is uncontested, no scrum is soft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then we come to The Dukes<\/strong> \u2014 the surprise package of 2025. Under Andy Egonu<\/strong>, they\u2019ve not only made the top four for the first time in a decade but have done so with style, grit, and swagger. The backbone of their team lies in Dylan Robinson<\/strong>, a captain who\u2019s led by example all season long, and the tireless engine that is Dirk van Lierop<\/strong>, a silent workhorse who just doesn\u2019t stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Out wide, Oliva Sialu<\/strong> brings attacking flair, but it\u2019s the prolific Wisse van der Heijden<\/strong> who has opposition coaches scratching their heads \u2014 a try-scoring machine with pace to burn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
